Tuning Crosman 1077 questions

Hi folks, i have bought a second hand Crosman 1077, when i got it home i noticed a co2 capsule was stuck, i sprayed some silicone spray down the tube and it got lose after i wiggled it side to side, inserted a new one and shot some mags before there was no more co2, and that capsule also was stuck... Let it rest for some time, then tried again but no luck, took the stock of and i could easy remove the capsule with a little screwdriver, but i don't feel like this is something i want to do every time i need a new co2, is there a solution to this problem?

Second question is about the speed, these should deliver over 600 fps, mine was around 300 fps for the first 5 mags, then went up to 420 fps for the next 2 mags and then droped below 300 before it was empty, don't know how long time it has been unused but according to the seller he have used lubricant capsules very often, could these have put a bunch of gunk in the system and therefore make it slower, should i just shoot it without any pellgunoil or silicone spray for some capsules and see if the speed goes up? Or do i need to take it apart and clean it? If so, what should i use so i dont damage any o-rings?

Lube with Alphabet org even the inner cylinder tube with a clean Alphabet org damp rag you keep it in a glass jar and when replacing the Co2 install the new one already wiped on the outside with the Alphabet org damp rag and with a drop of Alphabet org where it pierces tighten the cap hear the hiss then loosten 1/4 turn.

If it still exhibits the low velocity in the beginning then next time try loosten 1/2 a turn.

Hi, I had this issue a while ago as well and i found some really good solutions that worked well for me. As odoyle said, Alphabet org has helped prevent this issue most of the time. You should pierce the CO2 fully by tightening it till you feel a good hole has been made in the capsule, and then unscrew it just a little tiny bit. If it gets stuck badly a rubber mallet is your friend, point the gun downward and start hitting the rifle where you insert the capsule. don't be shy in hitting it a bit hard a rubber mallet won't do damage. after a few hits it should slide out. Don't have a rubber mallet? find a stable surface like a strong table put a towel on it and vertically with the gun pointing downward and firmly but also carefully where you insert the capsules make sure it's vertical as much as possible to avoid hitting it at an angle. Rubber mallet works a lot better though.
