Cricket mini carbine

I still have my eye on a cricket mini. The question I still have is subjective but I still am asking. Noise? I want the carbine in 22 and I want it quite I know with a LDC installed it would be. But then It is getting as long as a rifle again. I have a Huntsman with a Huggett in 177 it is quite and I have a AirArms S400 that is close to being to loud. I bought a Crossman 1710 I increased the hammer spring tension and its too loud and I hardly shoot it because of the report. I gave these examples of noise so you may get an idea of what I think is loud. So do you think I may be happy with a Carbine as bought? Another thing is I don’t care for the look of a LDC because of the increased diameter.

With a Fat MAC short style add on & Ernest Rowe working on one you should be able to get it somewhere near your standards.

What power & caliber are you wanting the quiet mini in? I’m lucky I guess to live where anyone can shoot anything on their own property as long as a berm is utilized,

Air guns can be very quiet up to I’d say the 40-50ftlb range. At least that’s my experience with all the specialized ones I’ve owned. Even my 30 ftlb Rainstorm, shrouded, regulated .22 has an adapter for an add on but it’s pellet strike is louder than the blast of air so it’s not needed, though I do enjoy quiet over my loud air guns. Good luck & I’m sure an actual current owner of a mini will chime in soon.

Mine doesn’t need a moderator, it’s very quiet out of the box. I had a Sumo on there and sold it because it wasn’t necessary & I replaced it with a Koi and a Carbon Fiber Shroud. (Edit) Made the gun just about as long as stock, maybe shorter (would need to measure) and quiet enough for my backyard needs. Check it out. It’s my favorite gun.
