Tuning Cricket .25 losing power.

I have a Cricket .25 which used to get 860+FPS with JSB heavy MK2.
Now all I can get is 850.
I have replaced the hammer spring from Georgia Air guns but see no improvement.
I rebuilt the gun completely a year or so ago but have been shooting my FX more. I’m discovering that I never should have left the Cricket. It shoots one hole groups at 50 yards, even after sitting for months.
Anyone have an idea?

According to the gun’s manometer, looks like the reg is set to 115 bar.
Would loosening or tightening the valve spring retainer make any kind of a difference?

Unfortunately Charlie Frear will no longer work on any gun not purchased from him. I respect his decision but am truly bummed that’s what he has chosen. Anyone else out there who works on Crickets?

Thank you

KP

I’m glad that Charlie has built his business up to the point he can turn away some work. Derrick would be a good choice.

To get back, I spoke with Derrick and he's a heck of a good guy. He had some suggestions that I'll follow through with which would involve adding a little more pressure to the reg.

Think while I'm in there I'll do another rebuild; last one was in 2018 so even with low use, the o-rings have aged.

BTW has anyone tried the Captain O-rings that you see on Amazon? Wondering if they use good quality o-rings. Otherwise I might hit Charlie Frear up for a set.

Thanks for hooking me up w Derrick, guys. Appreciate it
