If you hunt deer or hogs and have a feeder then you have probably thought about getting a game camera,
In the last couple of years cell phone technology has made some pretty big jumps and prices for that tech has went down to a point that you might want to consider getting a camera with LTE transmission
The Area that I hunt is very much out in the boonies with no Cell coverage as far as my Apple is concerned and for that matter everyone else phones. You can find a spot out in the area on top of a hill or when you hold your phone just right and all the stars line up but it is a single bar and a hope and prayer.
So I really did not have any hope for this thing to work but I had gotten it a long time ago and was not going to go buy another game camera so I put it out just to capture not expecting to be able to utilize its full functions. I was in for a surprise.
With two whip antenna's this thing got 80% bars and starting clicking and sending just as it was made to do.
Pricing is not that bad even for unlimited service @ $20 per month when you do month to month even cheaper if you buy in quarters or yearly service
My hunting area is two hours away from me so I can easily spend 20 bucks in gas going out to grab pics and this sends instant photos Even with the 80% cell I get these pics about 3 to 4 minutes after they are taken
Its a good camera with a lot of options including video although it will only transmit the pics you can pull video from the card and it includes sound.
Battery life is very impressive I am using (because I forgot the expensive batteries at home) cheap Harbor Freight double aa in this camera with no other charger on the unit and it has been clicking away for two weeks now without a hitch and has transmitted over 200 pictures not too shabby
Yes they can and are still a little pricey but when you consider the gas and time you spend getting to your hunting camp and the fact that you could be jumping deer and game going to pull your data it is worth that first hit
