Couple of GS with the Taipan Mutant Shorty .

I took my recently bought Taipan Mutant short for a field day,and boy it delivered !
My shorty has a 3 position wheel power adjuster ,and I've been using it in level 2 almost all the time with jsb 15.9 gr,for a nice 700 fps (19 FPE) .
It smoked these 2 squirrels .
The first one was at 68 yards, and the second at 70 ,almost in the same spot .
I found a hole in the ground, and placed the first one half way inside, making him look like it was coming out .
Then ,I've got another one at 48 yard, but I didn't retrieve it,because I had to cross some wire fence ,and didn't want to look suspicious .
Love this thing !
It was a great day to spend outside today .

Sorry for the late response, but, I'm working right now .

Renval,
yes, they're big boys , and , my prod bullpup is coming back today, Monday, from the person that did the power tune up .
And , is coming back "screaming" .
40 shots between 700 and 730 fps , and , it will be easy to set the velocity from 400 to 800 fps .
It's going to give the mutant a run for his money , I think .We'll see .

Mike,
yes, my mutant has a 3 positions power wheel adjuster .
The wheel doesn't increase the preload on the hammer spring, but , changes the TP output for what I was told .
This mutant is not a one trick Pony .
The power adjuster works fantastic !
According to the person that sold it to me, it was one of Ernesto Rowe guns, and he bought it from him, used it for a year, then decided to sell it to fund something else .
Sound familiar ?
The power goes like 10/20/30 FPE , give or take .
It depends on the pellets weight that is being used, but , the JSB 15.9 are the ones that produces those numbers .
In my personal opinion, all the guns that cost over 1K, should come with something like this ,and some sort of hammer debounce device .
It also has a Smooth Twist barrel, and a moderator made by ER.
