Coolant hose type typically used for pcp compressors

Hey, all. Does anyone here know exactly what type of hoses are used on these compressors that have on board coolant tanks and pump built in? It’s sort of a rubbery, milky clear type tubing type. I’m assuming it’s designed to take the extra high heat these compressors produce? Why not regular heater hose?

My plan is to add a remote coolant filtration kit to my lightning, and I’d like to plumb it using the same type hose.

Curious as to why compressor manufacturers that have on board liquid cooling just don’t use automotive type heater hose. There has to be a reason

Thank you, in advance.

I would guess it's because the hoses they use are less expensive and easier to fit than automotive heater hose. These compressors probably have no where near the heat load that would be present in an automotive system. For my Yong Heng (and Tuxing before it died) I've used a clear very soft flexible hose that was initially supplied with the Tuxing. I've had no problems at all with the original pieces of hose in nearly a year of use.

Home Depot - Lowe's has a good selection of hoses. If it's just for cooling none of the ones they sell melt at the temps you will be seeing. Pressure from the pumps is really low so I wouldn't waste the money on the reinforced hoses either. I was thinking about a Car heater core, or a couple of them with a fan to keep the temps down. If I'm fooling around in the garage it could just be a take my time thing and not worry about it.
