Converted a powder burner

Just had the family Christmas and my new brother in law was over - hunts a lot, used many guns but never tried anything in airguns more than his old daisy pump pellet gun. After firing the first shot of my Fox Impact he just started laughing - the same reaction probably all of had. One magazine later he’s asking questions all afternoon about pcp’s and what to buy. I’ve always said it only takes one pull of the trigger on these pcps to get someone hooked.

That's how I got started. I had no idea what a PCP was (other than a drug on old cope series). A good friend had me over and I shot his. Way too much money but a lot of fun later....

Actually, I wasn't "converted" I just added airguns to my archery and powder burner fun.

I'm not sure what had to give, but there are two trash bags on the deck that need to be moved to the trash can!

John-In-MA - I started with lever action BB guns, then to .22LR, 30-06 and .357. Realized I like it when my shoulder doesn't hurt after shooting, and I prefer costs of pellet guns, so I moved to a low powered break barrel, then a high powered break barrel, then to a PCP, now a better PCP. Still have the PB's, but much prefer the PCP's.

It's fun to shoot them all, but I came back to the airguns. Much more fun for lots less $$ for ammunition.

Will continue to shoot both .... largely supported by spring hunts ( Exterminations ) of Belding ground squirrels by the 1000's shooting .17 HMR's

2 days in the alfalfa fields of northern California it is not that uncommon to rack up 4 digit kill counts. generally @ 10-15% air gun in the mornings with low winds and closer shots. As winds pick up and ranges start getting further out, bring out the powder burners !!!

honestly ... No poop !
