Continuum liner 'O'-Rings?

AGN'ers —==—

I recently purchased the dual port brass barrel port piece from 910. In the little baggie there were 3 – 'O'-Rings; 1 – For the front end of the brass/steel transition, standard. But the other two are of the same size (it appears), one black, the other a grey/mauve color. This is for a .22 x 600mm barrel.

Looking at the Repair Videos, Schematics, & Docs forum, then at this schematic (

 View attachment Crown-superlight-tube-kit.1601651117.pdf), it appears that perhaps one of these is used where the barrel ends within the brass port section (Part #6), but it's REALLY tough to understand this.

I installed the grey/mauve 'O'-Ring into the brass section and pushed it all the way down until it bottomed out, then inserted the barrel as normal. It looks okay, but it does not allow my string cleaner to pass through, so I tried my straight rod with a jag and it came through. I was also able to run the jag through with a patch, which made it but it just doesn't seem right.

Since the Continuum comes with two barrels, I checked the 380mm barrel and cannot see any 'O'-Ring at this location from the factory, however, there is a small gap between the end of the barrel and the start of the brass piece in which an 'O'-Ring will fit..

Should there be an 'O'-Ring there? If so, should it be the colored one or the black one?

Thanks for any insights guys and gals.

Just got a reply from FXUSA and they state that the 'O'-Ring in question is that it is NOT needed for the liner.

The o-rings that were included were the breech seal, location 1 on the schematic.

The other material o-ring is called Viton, one of the longest-lasting o-rings available.

There is no o-ring between the brass inlet and liner. Number 6 on the schematic goes inside of the steel barrel attachment. You do not need to replace this o-ring.

Thank you and have a good day.

Best Regards,
