considering one of these 5 scopes

I was just facing the same decision and went for a Hawke 3×9 40 which sells for a little more money than those. I can reply on the UTG though. I ordered one from Pyramyd and returned it because because I hated it. The reticle was wire and looking like it wasn't square with the body of the scope. And the adjustment knobs were mushy feeling. Overall I had a feeling of cheap construction and poor QC. For what it's worth this was my opinion and I'm sure many others may think it's fine.

I have the first one listed in the original post, and installed it on my TX200. I'm very satisfied with it. When I scope a rifle, I'm not looking for the Holy Grail, and I'm not looking to spend equal to the purchase price of the gun...or more...for a scope. The job is simple. I don't need a bunch of features. I just need the reticle to be usably, and that the point of aim is the same as the point of impact. And that scope does the job. If I ever decide to upgrade beyond that level, probably Bushnell or Leupold will get the nod. They are very high quality instruments that have a long reputation of high quality. But, that's just me, and I'm an OG kinda guy!!!

I have a UTG on a Gamo Whisper Fusion Mach 1 with a little over 11,000 pellets and I love it. But, and here is the but, before I got this one the gun ate two UTG scopes . One had a crosshair in the reticle break and the other had the ocular lens start to fracture. I had some email communications with customer service telling them how disappointed I was and they apologized. This one holds zero and tracks well which are two of the negatives for these scopes. All were replaced free of charge but it was an inconvenience. But, in my opinion worth it as I will probably be buying another one soon. If I have to send it back a few times till I get a good one so be it. Others though don't want to bother with the hassle and I totally understand that as well. I read somewhere you get about one out of three good UTG scopes. In my case, seems about right.

BDC reticles are intended for powder burners and the subtensions do not translate well to airguns.
