Considering an HW 100 Carbine-what kind of shot count are you owners getting?

If the magazines are 14 rounds they are the HW100 and if only 10 rounds then they are the HW110 or HW44 that uses the same 10 round mags. The HW100 has a metal receiver while the HW110 and HW44 have ballistic polymer construction like Glocks.

Nicest HW100 carbine I have seen yet! Longer air cylinder than pictured would be helpful however add to its overall weight.

The air cylinder on the HW100 carbine pictured in this AOA listing is definitely not the one on either of my laminate carbines, both of which extend to within about one inch of the silencer, and both of which came from AOA. My guess, this is the configuration used on the 12 fpe carbines, don't think you will find it on the FAC power level guns.

This is what you want , I’ve got mine set at 16fpe and get around 80 shots. It has the long cylinder . The price shown is in CAD so it’s quite a bit cheaper than that , close to 1k

Are these folks still doing business? Their site shows guns that haven't been available for years. If they really have stock on some of them, it would be like a time machine!

Is it an optical illusion or does the synthetic stock carbine have a bigger air tank than the other carbines? I’ve been looking at them also and would like the larger tank on the walnut stocked HW100 carbine.

If you can see it amid the junk, this is my HW100 TK laminate, recently purchased from AOA. The .17 looks identical except for a slightly different silencer base. As you can see, it clearly has the longer air cylinder, not the full length rifle cylinder, but larger than the one shown in the listing.

Why would that be preferable? The carbines available in the US have a silencer and a larger capacity cylinder.

It’s the exact same gun as offered in the US . Only the price saves you close to 300$ .

No, it's not, no silencer and smaller cylinder.

Here’s a pic of the one I posted , it’s the FSB model. So you’re right , no silencer just the shroud . The cylinder is the same size as the FAC models sold in the US . I’m not exactly new to this , I’ve had more than my share of HW’s to know the difference. I just sold a TK with a factory beech stock and small cylinder. I was told this model was never made, yet all the numbers were matching. The HW100 comes with only two different length cylinders. The short one listed in the AOA add and the full length we both have just like in the add I posted. There are longer cylinders available but they are aftermarket and not from Weihrauch.

Yep, it took me a while to figure out the combinations with these rifles. Actually it took me 5 different rifles to figure it out. Hahaha. I’ve only kept two. The first be pictured above and an S model made in 2006. Love them all but just can’t keep them all.

I still don’t know why they insist on using stainless for the cylinders. They are indeed heavy. I guess that’s the price you pay for a rifle that will last a lifetime. I’m still waiting for the .25 to be made.
