Consensus best .25 Mrod sizer die diameter?

I have read all the pro and con articles about washed and/or lubed and/or sized pellets but I would like to gather a consensus from THOSE WHO DO SIZE what they found best in their .25 Mrods.

I would like to know because I want to order a custom Lee Precision size die.
Of course, I could just go .250 but due to the choke I have been told that .249 or .248 shoots better.

Interestingly enough, I was given some H&N Hornets (that I had previously tried with hohum accuracy) that had been sized to .250 and they shot MUCH better. When I checked what was left in the old original tin I had tried, they mike .252... could that have made the difference?

I have been using a Beeman pell size alone since1982 and it has proven to greatly improve the accuracy in my old FWB 124 and Beeman/Theoben .20 Crow Magnum. Experimentation is the only way to know the best size for your set up. I found that for the ranges I used for hunting (generally 40yds. and under) that size was more important than weight for accuracy. You will hopefully find the best size with the least amount of effort but it's not always easy. At least you have already found a starting point. I wish you the best of luck with your efforts.

If you really want to size your pellets a really good option is NOE
for what you pay for one Custom Lee die you can buy several of
the NOE sizing dies and if you already have a lee press all you need
would be the die and one punch with a die body , after the initial purchase
of these items the dies are like 8-9 dollars each . I've purchased many of
these from NOE and I prefer these over the LEE dies .

Here is a interesting video showing how to enlarge a sizing die . Enjoy
