The connector the hose came with is hard to take on and off on FX Impact. I want to use the FX attachment but the connection is male. Is there an adapter I can buy somewhere?

The connector the hose came with is hard to take on and off on FX Impact. I want to use the FX attachment but the connection is male. Is there an adapter I can buy somewhere?
See if the FX quick connect easily threads onto the female quick connect you removed. Chances are your hose end is 1/8 NPT male and the FX quick connect is a BSP male thread. If that’s the case you’d be better off either replacing the hose with one that ends in a BSP female connection or buy a DonnyFl extended quick connect that matches your hose thread. Your hose might also be a *10mm thread if it came from China. Finding a female to female connector is difficult and costly if the thread type is different on each side of the adapter.

Call Pyramid Air. When I bought my AV compressor it had a female quick disconnect fitting in the bag of parts. My FX connector was an exact fit and screwed into it. Then I just clicked that into the the end of the hose and it works perfectly. Either in the bag or on the FX connector itself, there was a sturdy rubber/metal gasket that is used when screwing the FX part into the AV fitting. Hope this helps!
