Condor ss safety problem ...

Hey guys ...I need help , the safety has just decided to jamb on my Condor SS .25 at least I think that's the problem the cocking knob Is sloppy In the breach there Is no resistance I'm not sure If that's because the safety Is stuck in the safe position or the safety Is stuck because the cocking knob Is problem . I hope this makes some sense , I did try to take apart the trigger but there's not a lot to see 3 small springs and that was about It . I tried you tube but no luck there .

Any help would be appreciated ......thanks .

For the newer wide plate type safety, Not the red cap wire pin first gen type. The delrin cocking breech ware down or little bits of plastic crack off from contacting the safety cam ( toggle ) Or it could be the trigger plate bottom Allen screw right behind the forearm grip. If it is too tight the bolt will not lock open to load breech. If you remove the automatic safety toggle take the trigger plate off and push out the Top Pin that is closest to the bottom of breech in the frame. Only has to be pushed out half way and the toggle will fall out. The pin push out is from Right side to Left side with gun up right. Then you can hold open bolt and de-cock gun without wasting air and a pellet

They, AirForce, will not talk you through the reassembly because they would have no control or inspection of what is being done on the other end of the phone, this due to potential liability. AF will advise you to ship the rifle to them and if not covered under warrantee, meaning you took it apart, they will charge you $65.00 and return postage to fix it.

Happened to me while changing a hammer spring on my Texan LSS, everyone said, on video’s, do not tip the rifle on its side while the trigger plate off, I did and regretted it.
