Condor Can

Up in the air on what moderator to get when i buy my new .25cal Airforce Condor with 24" barrel. this will mainly be a hunting set up, but would like to target shoot in the backyard as well. Im leaning towards a Donny FL can. What are you all running? I also hear that if my gun is a .25 to buy a .30 suppressor. any input would be great. also would love to see pictures an what exact module you all have.

I have a DonnyFL shogun on a .25 condor, it works excellent. I would buy a .30 as well, but I bought mine as a .25 and it works fine. I’ve found that it’s nice to be able to move Donnys around and try them on different guns, so a .30 gives you lots of flexibility. I own five or six different Donnys now, very pleased with his products and he’s a super good guy.

Excellent reference. Finding and posting the above article just earned dc8cappie a green ball in my book!
Thanks for posting as all the great articles get lost in this format.
STO is a extremely good source of information on all things LDC.
I've had 3 Condors in different configurations for sheer power with heavy slugs, slug precision, or set up for extreme accuracy with pellets and extremely quiet. As in Hollywood no blast noise whatsoever heard at ear Or projected in any direction. A good suppression system can easily contain what's needed for good pellet power.
The slugs and power required to send them gets a bit louder and hard to keep quiet.
You can decide on brand for yourself. I've used quality designs like TT Gen 6 shrouds, DONNYFL's, Neil Clague's, Roy Kastern, and David Furr's.

I'm going to tell you right now price for value a David Furr (well known on other forums and by us older members) LDC is hard to beat.
I liked Talon Tunes Tony's shrouds but for serious heavy slugs and the power required I had to sell shroud & get my barrels threaded. Quiet was easy but superior accuracy with slugs required a solid system that is aligned perfectly.
Neil Clague's custom fitted LDC's, shrouds or 1/2 shrouds are the nicest suppression systems in the airgun world. Yeah you might pay a little more, & you're definitely going to pay more in shipping as these should be custom fit but that's what makes them the best. He makes a shroud that can absorb the blast sound, not cause problems with clipping or cross flow. I'm a big fan of the fact that Neil designs shrouds and 1/2 shrouds of all types. Threaded, tensioned, etc.

We don't know exactly how hot you're going to set up your Condor. Will the extra long gun be a problem in hunting or anything else? This is where a shroud may be desired.
You can't go wrong with any make of LDC you mentioned. They all work. I guess it's length, weight, perception of effectiveness.
If you have the barrel & CAN/LDC threaded properly a .30 isn't necessary but if you have any doubts about the trueness of the build yeah, jump to a .30 caliber hole.

Thanks, the stock was made by me, which is Diamond Gun Stocks.

I wish I knew of you before I purchased my mad dog stock.
