Compressors? What the#%{

I understand everybody's frustration with availability of things during this pandemic. But it seems that I have seen an awful lot of blame put on vendors for not being able to get what they want. If the vendor can't get it from the manufacturer how do you expect them to sell/ship it to you.

A lot of stuff has been in short supply including the labor to get it packaged and shipped. Be patient and don't blame people who have no control over what is going on.

Maybe vendors should not advertise merchandise that is not currently in stock -- misleading the public about its availability. And in most cases taking customers money and making them wait for an item they -- the vendors -- don't have. Is that expecting too much?

We now return you to the normal scheduled program...

Supply chain for sure cut off at the top...

I am really bored of all the boomers complaining about wearing masks. It's like every single day I go to look at an Airgun or compressor thread and some boomer takes over the post and virtue signals that we should all be wearing masks. It's unreal. Science is a religion at this point and there's a lab coat out there somewhere that will say whatever confirms you confirmation bias. Masks don't work, masks do work. Masks masks masks. Anyone here want to talk about airgun stuff again? BTW masks are dumb and we never went to the moon.

the moon is dumb and masks do not exist. ODOYLE RULES

Did you get the extended warranty on the Yong heng? That's a good idea. They cut me a check for 85 percent of cost of the compressor when mine went down but I got to keep it for spare parts. I find that the yongs have issues with the internal filter that screws in. They don't use Teflon tape and the vibration rattles it loose after awhile of run time. If you go on Ali express you can get spare parts. I recommend getting the crush seals and tubing for 15 bucks and a seal kit. When you take it apart sometimes the crush seals don't work and you need new ones. Yong heng are fantastic to keep running yourself. Parts are cheap and that extended warranty really kicks ass.

That extended warranty is a very wise investment for sure!

Alkin Compressors are Fantastic, I have a large Mariner W32 that is hooked up in cascade. Very Simple to use, works great, and easy to maintain. Call Alkin and ask for Aydin. He can easy find a compressor that will work for your situation. I would avoid alot of those smaller shoebox compressors as they are cheaply made and run rough. Every Chinese made shoebox compressor I have seen acts like its gonna blow up when under full load.

I'm hosed.

My Nomad 2... beautifully maintained I might add... was making the "jackhammer of death" sounds for a week. Today it up and died, load never exceeded 23. Still runs, but It gets up to 1000psi and just... stops. ARGGGHHH!

I have read countless reviews of others experiencing the exact same issue. These little things just aren't meant to last. Poor design and not exactly cheap. Mine lasted just under a year.

So, I was going to upgrade anyway... had my eye on an Omega SC. To my horror, every place is sold out.

Help! Can't shoot!
