Compressor survey update 2

Hi folks,

Link to Update 2 here! 113 responses so far!

---------------------------------------

Here is earlier update #1:

So far so good... I have had 47 submitted responses! Here's a tease of which compressors I have data for (and how many submissions for each). If you have a compressor and want to share your experience, please visit this link and submit your data. It will only take a couple of minutes!

Hi @toku58

So what is the point?
- I have been really tempted to get a compressor myself and found many threads like what you see here where compressor owners are sharing their experiences (both good and bad). I just wanted to try to gather people's input into one spot and share this data with the air gun community. Ultimately I hope this will help me (and others) make more informed decisions about how one may spend their money.

Is this just to see who owns what?
- In part, yes. But again to help future buyers hopefully make better, more informed decisions. What I am trying to do is something like the TrueDelta website (https://www.truedelta.com/) for cars. Mine is ultra simple, but I hope it will be informative for people.

The cheaper one's will be the clear leader because of it's price point.
- That's for everyone to determine on their own. I don't intend for this to be a "shoot out" between compressors.

What data are you trying to gather?
- Go ahead and click into the survey to see what I'm collecting :)

Hi folks,

I'm trying to decide when I have enough responses for a first round of data sharing. I have collected 113 submissions so far. (I honestly didn't know if I would get 10, 100, or 1000 responses to this survey.) My gut tells me that I can probably start building my reports pretty soon and start sharing them here and on the other forums and groups. I'll have more on this in the next week or so...

Thanks!

In the meantime, here is a table showing the number of hours of run time submitted for the various compressors. It it sorted to show the highest average (mean) first. I am including the number of submissions (count) so you can tell how many users contributed their experiences to each report. I'll be getting into the other reports in the coming week or so...
