comparing NSA vs H&N slugs with my Impact MK2

I would never expect two different projectiles to perform the same with the exact same settings/tune on the gun as that very seldom happens. When I tune my gun it is for an individual single pellet or slug. Now and then the tune is good for more than one projectile but still it will slightly favor one over the other. So your gun plainly prefers the H&N over the NSA at the settings you are running at this time. And they are shooting very well and consistent at that short range. But with a slight change in the tune it could just as easily be the other way around. Once you have consistency at short range you have to double or triple the range to really know how the individual projectile is shooting. Your tune is not complete until you do. Me, I never stop tuning, change pellets tune again, change to slugs tune again, change velocity tune again ect ect...

Thanks for the video.

@biohazard. I agree. Different speed will yield different outcome for sure. This is just my initial slug testing to find out what my Impact prefers at the current tune. My next step is to shoot longer ranges and fine tune the gun for accuracy. I only wanted to shoot the 21 & 23gr for now as I don’t want to push the Reg up too high. Once I get my hands on a power plenum, I might push them slugs faster. Thanks for watching and your comments.

@Max115
Have pretty strong doubts increasing hammer spring will gain anything worthwhile given you already have three hammer wheel setting essentially giving the same maxed out result. Definitely need to bump up your reg pressure. Don't forget that with the accuracy of these gauges your '135 bar' might actually be quite a bit lower than Doug-T's '135bar'👍🏻
