Compact scopes and long length-of-pull

I wouldn't do this on a springer, but I don't see any reason squeezing both rings on the back-half of the receiver wouldn't work on a PCP

This particular Kral has a VEEERRYY long length of pull. If you look closely you'll see the rear rings are kind of hanging off the back! It's hard to see this but the dovetail actually flairs out towards the front. I have the rings as afar forward as they'll go...

I'm pretty excited to NOT have to play giraffe to get a good picture through this scope now!

You could use a cantilever moujnt or add a short riser adapter to bring scope back

I dont think you'll have any problems. I like to mount my optics further back as well. I'm not fond of as you put it "giraffe neck" either. Plus bullpups look silly & unbalanced with the scope mounted all the way forward.

Should work fine. I had my Daystate Regal set up the same way.

Thanks guys. I finally got around to shooting it with this setup. I ran some jsb monsters through it and over the chrony. I honestly had no business shooting this evening with the winds... and I was SHOCKED just how well the redesigned .22 monsters did in the wind!

This was my 1st time shooting these 25.4 grain pellets after opening up the transfer ports a bit on the Bigmax. It was shooting these at 820 fps (37 fpe). The winds were absolutely howling and if I ever shoot another 10-shot group at 50 yards in these conditions again I'll be absolutely shocked... But I'll take it!

Right group was the close sight-in and the left were the 50-yard shots:

And the positioning of the scope with both rings on the back-half of the receiver was soooo much more comfortable. But I will have to open up the rings just a little bit if I want to be able to actually turn the UTG locks on the turrets. :-0

Oh and yes to the suggestion of cantilever mounts. I do have a set but they are picatinny and they don't work on kral rail. I may pick up a dovetail version of this to test... Here is what they look like on the gun:
