AT IWA 2019 at the FX booth we were introduced to the dreamline compact tactical. The compact tactical seems to have made it to the U.S. in limited quantity. NOW as to the COMPACT IMPACT with a 300 cc Bottle. The inference was it would be available late summer or early fall 2019. I know that is not how it works. BUT could we have a guess from FX when the COMPACT IMPACT might be for sale inside the U.S. & ALSO if a Compact barrel & shroud and 300 cc Bottle KIT will also be available for sale for Impacts now in customer's hands now. I have an Impact now and would like the kit hopefully including a barrel and shroud ready to accept 1/2 20 threaded moderators plus the 300 cc bottle and proper size pellet probe. While I'm wishing I feel a lot of us would really enjoy a semi automatic Fx Impact. Using the same inter changeable barrels that exist for Impacts now. Adjustable power and regulator similar to existing semi auto's now. If wishes were horses ..... FX is a company I have come to admire. Mr FX (Fredric Axelton)( I doubt I can even spell his name correctly) Boot strapped his company into existence, pioneered new designs so popular that demand exceeds production. Engineered the dreamline concept to permit 4 rifles+ from one base line receiver and improvements to the Impact that may well see it exceed 100ft/lbs of muzzle energy. FX has grown extremely fast and had relatively few problems with it's products. There has never been a major recall. I have picked out other FX rifles to purchase. FX will catch up to our demand UNLESS he introduces a semi auto Impact.
