Come on fed Ex !!!!!!!

Will start out ordered my mini cricket from Georgia air guns last Friday from Charlie Frear could't wait to get it . Fed Ex says delivery the 29th cool so on the 28th still says 29th so Thurs. I sat watching ALL DAY for the truck .Come along 4:00 no truck what the H*** !!!! . Get on the computer check tracking 3:58 message DELIVERY changed to the 30th next day ( you didn't want to be in the house when I read that) .So today I helped a friend build a fence & my wife stayed for the truck to arrive .Got a call at 1:00 your gun is here-I say is the box ok ? yes .Well I get there not to much damage but could tell stuff had been on it from all the dark spots .I opened it up smiles from ear to ear nice dark stock- light wt.-then I turn it over ####### some one cracked my stock are you kidding ME . Figured by this time ( I'm on the west coast) Charlie is closed down along time ago .I leave a message ( figure having to wait till next Tuesday ) I get a call back its Charlie - new stock will be shipped out next Tuesday enjoy the gun send back the cracked one after the new one arrives . Wow this is after closing hours great costumer service . Thanks again Charlie you & your friends be safe !

Anticipation coupled with disappointment equals a really crappy day. But someone on the other end that quickly handles a resolve makes things easier to accept.

Kudos to Charlie and crew for turning crappy into happy.

This story needs a photo of the cracked stock and one of the Cricket with her new furniture.

Hajomoto Wife's going to take some pictures but I need my grandson to post pictures I'm lost on these computers . Crack about 21/2" long slight angle down looking at butt of stock to muzzel next to the hst adjustment knob ( very thin stock in that area ) The small plate behind the cocking lever also was dented in but not bad . Will put the scope on it tomorrow & begin enjoying it . I wasn't expecting a phone call back till Tuesday but just wanted to give him a heads up on the situation .Kinda feel bad because he was trying to get things done around the house ( he opened his doors for some friends from Florida because of the storm ) This just tells you what type of a person he is . Thanks Haji Darell

that is great service but I read about crack and broken stocks all the time and I hate to say it but it is the shippers job to make the box unbendable

put fragile on the box, the shippers don't care

take care

Gun came double boxed plus foam (the type you pluck in a hard case plano ) outside box very small dent hardly noticeable original gun box inside no signs . Part my fault for not buying a plano from him to begin with for added protection . I have so many sitting around taking up space I didn't want another because I have a soft case here for it already . Just my luck but he's on the ball to do things right . I am greatful for his fast response . Darell

Kudo's to Charlie for making it right. He's great to do business with. Look forward to your pics!

Fuss This was my second purchase from him , both him and his wife are great people . He put a smile back on my face when he said keep it & enjoy it , just send back the stock when you get the new one . It made me feel good that he had confidence in me too also & that I didn't have to send the whole gun back . I'm Headed out later to one of my permissions , the crows & flocks of starlings are starting to appear thicker . Have a great day Darell

.......... believe it or not , after several hundred airguns and Lord knows how many boxes i still keep , you'll actually one day - just be cool and even forgetful of airgun gear you have delivered ...... now granted , i'm not paying $1000's on one gun , i dont really even keep ones over $500 to honest.....but i got to experience most of them for while... we used to call it " the brown santa " or ups... i even ambushed my driver at times...(bugging the poop outta ups cust serv until they arranged that i could meet on the route - wasnt waiting no 2-3 more days of doortag crap)....... krawling outta my skin - man , that anxiety of having to order all of this poop online and wait....... what a rush....... my buddy who i fixed and tuned all his locally available airgun stuff almost right away , gets one of those 5K kick-back debit cards every quarter..... he says "i want the best , baddest airgun stuff i can get !" . ... a month later , drops almost the whole 5K here with me at ag's of az..... tanks, devices, scopes - the works , man......... he was hot poop until ups brought him to his knees, also, man...... and by then he'd called ( krawling out of his skin in anticipation and ....mmmhm...what a rush.....) and switched poop around once or twice with ag's of az ( because airgunners are like that , imagine selling this stuff and putting up with our likes ) -- - and you know how we are..... he was livid about ups , tho.... dont matter how much we spend , we are on our knees --- due to shipping... i like fed ex much better now , after ups lost one (new diana 350) for six months , broken several stocks from the conveyer belt sorting facilty... i well over insure - just to charge them for my waiting time , if that does happen... .....o... and lots of us are slow to ship , anyway........ send something to mac1 and get reamed if you bug too much.... 4-5 months to get my hot tuned crosman mark one back , but damn sure worth it........... BUT , HE'S THE BEST for quality american-type airguns ..... and i after i got to know him (buying parts) , i learned A LOT.... i just repair as a hobby around here , and texas , but i can turn down and refer work to others now.....wasnt able to do that before... still slow to ship , tho.... wanna make sure they are gonna last.....and i send poop to the wrong place or get tags mixed up - logistic freakin nightmare to get in a rush with shipping......scary... i hope it doesnt take you as many 'tracking numbers' as it did me..... and i STILL got TOO many empty airgun boxes ........ unless it comes in the manufactures packaging , the gun is going into a 36x6x6 with stock taken off... these older guns arent as expensive - but no source for factory part and wood, if it breaks some heirloom, man..... cheaper to ship under 36" , too. .........i am kinda missing that rush now......... thanx, man !! hang in there. - paul.
