Combro cb-625 MK4

Good Afternoon AGN.,

I just figured out how to keep from having to push the reset button every shot on the combro portable chrony. I just had to add an external 6v battery and now it still displays fps and ft lbs of energy high, low and average. Has anybody hooked this chrony up to a pc or android tablet? Combro's website is not to clear on if it is working correctly now.

How do you connect the external battery. Is it like those old lantern battery

Brian,

I used two small 3volt photo type cells and a 18650 battery holder which I mounted to the back of the chrono and I also put a connector on it so the unit will switch off when unplugged.

So only the front two terminals are connected to the battery ? Red is positive ?

Cosmic,

yellow and red are hooked together to positive and the middle is black which is negative, It works great I hated the way I had to reset after every shot. I highly recommend this mod. Let me know if you have anymore questions.

I use mine with a tablet, you need to use this special cable to do it.

How do you like it? since I hooked the battery to it and do not have to push the button after every shot it has been flawless. I can not get over how great this works and I like the fact that I can shoot targets while getting the chrony data. It blows away my f1 that only reads if you get the right light and distance over the sensors.

I like it, it records your shot string shot after shot without having to reset after each shot. You have to download the app.
