Well so far I'm working on getting the poppet to seal I'm going to have to lapp it more didn't do it enough I guess the chamber has 2 .025 vent holes in it from what I can tell it is slamming shut fast using a really light valve spring just so poppet closes when gun is empty after that air pressure takes over to slam the valve shut vent holes may need to be enlarged to get more dwell for power it's coming along

The one picture at the tip of the caliper you can see the .025 vent hole there are 2 of them I have to lap the valve in more it isn't quite sealing all the way any suggestions I'm using a drill with good metal polish and spinning the poppet in the valve both ways fast as the sell will go and then clean everything up and retry I've done it twice now and has gotten better each time idk

The cobra valve is working and shutting fast just have a small leak at poppet sealing to valve yet I need more air in my tank before I can fill it completely but I have enough to get over the 150 bar where the reg is set at I haven't tried to Chrono it yet I want to get the small leak sealed up first Dry fired it from 3000 psi down under the reg leak doesn't get any worse till about 90 bar then quickly filled it again tried it several times still can hear it hissing enough to drive a person mad lol dry fired at least 50 times hoping it would seal up

I'm going to have to make a new poppet with a different sealing angle and take it to .320 for more closing force just can't get this one to seal all the way up frustrated with it right now my first on I made sealed up with very little lapping but it also was using a heavier valve spring

R&D demands patience.

I also have to improve the design set up of my adjustable valve.

Such things move on slowly.

Yeah I know sometimes I get rushing things I think Im going to need change the angle of the sealing surface so there is more of it and go up to .320 .325 for a little more sealing pressure . The poppet doesn't have much surface to change the angle it's only about a .060 or a tad thicker at the sealing point. trial and error I guess is how we learn
