CO Airgunners

Thought for a second this was going to be a thread about someone using carbon monoxide to power their airgun

You had my attention!

I'm in Colorado also and would like to know. 

I practice at home on my property. We have 36 acres outside of Fairplay.

Sorry, haven’t heard of any airgun clubs in Colorado either. I just shoot in my backyard and in my warehouse at work.

There seems to be more than 2 airgunners here in Colorado! I live in the Denver metro area between Lakewood and Golden and have tried to find other airgunners around here close but have never got hooked up with anyone. Maybe we might just have to try to put together a new club of our own. If any are interested, respond now and, who knows, maybe we might get something going. I would think we could find a lot of ideas and support from members here! What do you think?

Yep, there’s an informal group around the metro Denver area. We call ourselves Colorado Airgunners. Original, right?



Before COVID-19, we were meeting monthly at an outfitter store not far from downtown. No shooting but lots of good conversation and a lot of show and tell with all our cool stuff.


I was just emailing with another member about trying to find a spot where all us Denver shooters could get together for a safe plink fest. I usually go up to the public range above Harris Park when I want to stretch things out beyond my basement’s range. I signed up for the EBR “Lockdown” edition and would love to get together with some other Metro area enthusiasts to either practice or get together to shoot our official submissions together.



We haven’t met since probably February. If there’s a way to PM me your email address, I’ll see what I can do to put you in touch with our informal leader.

I've hosted airgun shooting events at my place in Wheat Ridge and at my place in Leadville. We can shoot out to 50 yards at my place in Wheat Ridge and out to 300 yards at my place in Leadville. Here's pictures of one event at my place in Wheat Ridge.

Here's pictures of my two ranges outside of Leadville. One is next to my other home the other is about a mile away. Both are used for airguns and firearms and both are on my property.

I have a cabin in Colorado between Blackhawk and Rollinsville . I can shoot out to 50” yards and shoot almost daily when I am there. I would be interested in getting together with other airgunners. I’ll try to pm my email address to be kept informed of any get together

You have a nice spot.Looks very fun. I have 36 acres in Park county where we could get together as a group also. We can shoot over 100 yards and no one to disturb.

First thing comes to my mind is U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center. It is my dream place to shoot 10 meter air pistol. Seems around 2.5 hours drive from COLORADO.

I will definitely visit there some time later.

How about looking into local regular Sportman's Clubs?

I belong to two clubs in my town (in New Hampshire) and we shoot powder burners and air guns at both places.

I only shoot a springer currently, really wanting to get a r5m or tipan veteran but they have been out of stock forever. And now that I had the money for one, the owner of the company I work for killed himself the other day, so know iam out of a job. It just seems like I am not supposed to own one of these things. Every time I am ready to buy one something happens that causes me to put it off for an extended time. Maybe someday I will be able to look at shooting with some of you guys.
