Just be sure, after cleaning, it's completely dry if using anything petroleum based. Anything that might combust under pressure has got to be gone before shooting! Also, check the instructions on how the cleaner works with rubber seals. I understand Ballisstol is supposed to be safe on rubber seals, but not sure about Hoppes.

I've used a couple cleaners, and as long as they:
1, do clean
2. won't combust under pressure
3. won't ruin seals

you should be good.

Joe Wayne Raye (Sorry Joe if I got it wrong) has a good cleaning video where he uses a de-fanged bore snake. Take the brass brush out (Watch the video) and it's a really fast clean.

enjoy

Oh, forgot, on a PCP the brass weight on the Bore Snake probably won't fit through the breech. I cut the weight off completely and tied a knot in the end of the snake. Next, I took some trimmer line, folded it in half and heated it a bit to keep the bend. Then put that through the muzzle of the barrel and pushed it down to the breech. I put the knotted end of the bore snake in the bend in the trimmer line and pulled it through. Sounds complicated, but it's not bad.
