I have a coworker who looking for a close range -15 yards pistol for chipmunks. Somthing to keep in the garage. He is open to any power plant. Any reconditions?

I ordered a Crosman 1377 for just that purpose, direct through their custom shop on the Crosman website. I went with the steel breech and 14" lothar walther barrel. put on a shoulder stock and a scope, it can't miss. I have NOT had the need to change or modify the 1377.
my yard is no more then 20 yards. Out of ease, I reach for the 1377 or hw30s when i need to knock out a rat or sparrow from the chicken coop. light, quick and easy to hit the target.

Simply field dress them, lightly crisp them over a low heat for ten minutes per side, soak in pure vodka over night, add a pinch of lime, them remove the meat, toss it in the garbage, and drink the broth!

For the described usage that 1377 will do just fine and is the least expensive of the choices presented.

Thanks for the feedback! I will make list and go over it with him. I think the “picking” process is as much fun for him as the actual hunting will be. I will let you guys know what he goes with. Might be spring before he makes up his mind though.
