Cleaning with fishing line

Hey guys!
My cleaning series starts out with, quite possibly, the cheapest way of cleaning a barrel... the fishing line! Simple to use, and simple to make. Cut some fishing line the length of your barrel X2, add about another foot or two to the length, and put a kink right in the middle. After that, all you need is a straw and some patches.
It not going to be the quickest or most thorough cleaning and it does have its limitations. But, it's still one of my favorites for a quick wipe.
Hope you enjoy! More to come in a few days.

If you use a similar system but, in a different style or use a different technique, please share it!
Happy Shooting!

Enjoy your videos Tom.
I use this method. I braided 3 - 50 pound lines with one loop at one end. Then I use 2" square patches for my .25 Crown. I fold them in such a way that they sing coming through. One wet, reverse the same patch, pull again, 3 dry and its clean. I wash and lube my ammo, barrel being chocked is where I think it gets dirty.
You right this is cheap, It's portable (taking up little room in my possibles bag) have 2 more at home, and efficient.
I think it as the KISS method.
I do look forward to your other methods.

"2D1C"I tried that to Bob but it snapped on me. I was thinking about what cosmic said. A loop in the middle of a longer line would allow for going back and forth with the first patch.

2 things...
I think you know this already but, I wouldn't go back and forth until most of the crud has been removed. You don't want to run a really dirty patch back and forth.

My next video should be out some time tomorrow and might be a better solution for you than running a patch back and forth. And it's another super cheap DIY method!
