Cleaning Bobcat Barrel

Keep in mind that there is no combustion residue in an air rifle so strong solvents are not needed. Its just lead rubed off the pellets. Ballistol works good and is great for wiping down the whole gun. Quite offten a couple of dry patches are all it will take. I use the KryTech wax lube that comes with the the Crown Saver if you get the kit. It puts a non stick coating in the barrel so lead won't accumulate as fast. And the Smooth Twist barrels are less prone to lead build up anyway. Generally you only need to clean the barrel when you notice accuracy starting to decline. Some guns can go quite a long time between cleanings. High velocity rubs more lead off than lower velocity guns also.
