Classic dirt nap

We have some cats that tend to keep the rats at bay so I had to reach back into the photo archive for this one.





It's one I got shortly after I got my first PCP in 2013, a B51 from FDAR. This rat was doing the grab-n-go in the back yard, retreating to the safety of a brush pile at the edge of the woods. Or so he thought. I hit the pressure pad and the reflection of his eye gave me a nice aim point. He took a JSB 18.1gr to the noggin at 48 yards, and if I wasn't hooked on airguns yet, that sealed it.

This was last September. The first two with my Prod. But I’ve taken many more since then and lots of mice also

Ive only been getting these little buggers in the barn so far.I almost want to let them grow until summer...almost.

Speaking of little buggers. Rats are few and far between. But the mice , there are a lot of them. There are five in this photo. Shot at 17 yards. I have another spot at 22 yards where I get them also.
