Chronograph with good app for Android

Hey guys, I am finally looking at getting a chronograph, but I want one that will interface with my Android phone (Note4) so I don't have to enter all the numbers by hand. I am looking at the Competition Electronics ProDigital with the bluetooth adapter or the Caldwell Ballistic Precision kit. As I understand it, the real difference is that the Caldwell has a cord and the ProChrono is bluetooth. I understand also that earlier versions of both had some issues with Androids.

Does anyone have any recent experience with connecting these to an Android?

Is there any practical difference in the apps?

Are there other chronographs in this price range that you would recommend I look at?

Thanks guys.

I have the precision electronics with the light kit and bluetooth kit. I have an iPhone and shooting from my table in the basement with lights off in the table area and the target lit I can put the phone display very dim with the apps night setting and control the crony. I.E. remove shot or string besides the normal crony readings. I've had it a week without any shot measurement issues. (About 20 strings, 30 or 40 shots ea.).

I have the Caldwell G2 Chronograph. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/169483/caldwell-ballistic-precision-chronograph-g2
This connects wirelessly with my android phone or my pad. This unit has worked flawlessly for me inside or outside regardless of lighting. After owning several other brands that all were very fussy about lighting, this one has been perfect. The tripod that comes with it is not very sturdy. I already had a good quality camera tripod, so the tripod is not an issue.
I bought mine, on sale at Cabelas. Sale price, minus vets discount, minus a few bucks I. My Cabelas Club account, plus state sales tax, the total came to around $140.00. A bargin.

I have the setup and use my note 4 with it. I must have a dozen strings saved on it. I don't think there is a limit on the strings you can save. I did buy the light kit and the Bluetooth adapter. I know some users just buy the small puck lights that stick on and use them on the white plastic bars on the chrony.

This is my setup and how it looks on my note 4.

When looking at these be sure to add all the parts that you will need. The one that seems cheaper may cost more with all the extras you have to add?

"CaptainBravo"That G2 looks interesting. Especially for that price. Any preferences between the apps?
Not sure I understand the question. Both my phone and pad are android so the same app is used. Cannot use both phone and pad at the same time. One or the other. I normally use the phone and "save" the strings. I then Email to myself and print them out. I do all this at the range. When I get home, printed strings are on my printer so I can view them side by side.

I don't think I asked my question very clearly. I have used some apps that I really don't like. Something about the layout, the menus, or something just doesn’t fo it for me. I have downloaded both the Caldwell and the CE app, and the CE looks like it has a lot more features, but of course I don't have either machine to connect to.

So my question is, does anyone really dislike the app for either chronograph? If so, what specifically don't you like about it?

Thanks for all the responses guys. I'm probably stressing too much over it. I tend to do that sometimes.
