Chronograph Suggestions and more . . .

Hi,

I've been considering purchasing the Caldwell G2 Ballistic Precision Chronograph because it offers a Bluetooth connection and I'm hoping it will work with my Kindle Fire Tablet. I've already downloaded and installed the Caldwell App on my Kindle, but still not sure the Bluetooth connection of the G2 Chronograph will work with my Kindle. Does anyone have this Chronograph setup?

What other Chronographs seem to work OK with pellets and slugs and also arrows as I shoot cedar arrows in my traditional bow?

Thanks for any input.

I have both the Pro Chrony and the Caldwell G2. I've had the Pro for 5-6 years and have had it fall off its storage shelf twice. I've had the G2 for about 6 months. I may be doing something wrong with the Caldwell but the Pro is much better. They both are within 1-2 FPS in readings but the Pro will document 19-20 out 20 shots and the Caldwell will record no reading for at least 1/3 of the shots. Very surprised and disappointed in the Caldwell because I paid more for it.

I have to wonder if your G2 might be defective? I have had both Caldwell models and the G2 has been the most reliable Chrony i have ever owned. Love, love the blue tooth! Great range with that too.
