was down flat on my back from falling on the ice for two days, drove to a friends, and borrowed his,Caldwell – I need to buy one,

took me most of the morning to get it hooked into my ph and note8

got 8 shots before my LED light pucks stuck up on the plastic canopy's batteries died in my basement,  then all i got was error, mesages,

HW97K T brand new, scope'd with a bug buster until i get a big boys scope for it  crony was about 1 foot in front of barrel end

Using Exact Jumbo Diablo 14.35 pellets

FPS—— foot pounds using pyramid air calculator

    648       13.38

    650       13.47

    625       12.45

    671       14.35

    670       14.31

    653       13.59

    649       13.42

    633       12.77

this is around the 30 or 40 pellets ive put through it, as i just bought it  im crappy with math, (brain-Damage) but it looks like around 13 foot pound average

will this when its broken in show a consistent  "number" result with a given weight pellet?

    thanks

    John

Your last shot velocity of 333 fps only translates to 3.5 ft/lbs

The 97 is a great gun so I wouldn’t get too hung up on the chrony results. The important thing is accuracy and I have seen plenty of springers with velocities that vary shot by shot, yet are superbly accurate. Richardo.

Once it breaks in and the barrel seasons it will be a little more consistent, a tin of pellets then check it again.

I have one and after 2000 plus shots it has really settled in.
