Nice shooting there Doug! I hate those things. They've done more damage to our old place than all the kids "secret" parties put together.

I’m amazed at how long they hibernate here in PA. I have lots around my house but I have not seen one yet this spring. I shot a groundhog to day cleaning out a hole under my shed.

Hey Doug good on ya! I recently put an offer on a house in West point CA which is in an oak and pine forest. It's right on that elevation line that has both. Anyway when my dad went up to meet the inspector he said he saw deer, heard turkey and mentioned that there were tons of chipmunks. The inspector said that we should maintain the population by calling a pest control agency once a year. Ha! Finally my airgun addiction might actually save me some money...... Or break even...... Hell let's be honest I am actually stoked there is a problem that my airguns can provide. I look forward to the posts I will do showing my glorious feats on the battlefield such as yours. God bless man keep us posted on your battle with the furred menace that threatens your home. 

I've been seeing plenty of them already, it was a strange winter here in Michigan, I actually seen them when they normally should have been hibernating.

I have a lot of holes around - only seen one so far..Hope he has a lot of friends for future "meet and greets".

Like leatherman said, I’m from Pa too and have not seen a single chipmunk yet either this spring, they are everywhere here, I was getting one or two everytime i shot in my backyard in the summer 

Hi Doug i had issues 2 years ago with thousands digging under walkway , killing gardens ect , so far I didnt see any this year but maybe it is still too cold here

@Raden1942 I can only imagine the look in your eyes while talking to the realtor when they showed you the yard as you imagined a shooting gallery with living reactive targets at various ranges. Airgun pesting heaven.

Actually the realtor is my cousin and the previous owners are some Harley riding husband and wife that will continue to raise horses and live in thier second property a couple of acres behind us. They had an interview with us and accepted our offer after a couple of hippies offered over 20k more than us. The discussion of a shooting range and pest abatement sealed the deal. In fact he asked if we would feed his horses from time to time while he was in Reno and kill the ground squirrels and moles that make holes in his pasture. Pretty cool stuff right there. We got 20k under listing in a buyers market just for being pesting and gun friendly buyers. I guess when you have to live next to the people buying your house money isn't everything. Lol
