Chipper #63 for 2021, #12 for October

Here is another young small one from my wood pile. This one was flat on all fours facing me directly with head and body perfectly aligned for a head/heart shot. ~15 yards, head shot that passed into the body and got the heart.

DRT, no blood, no movement, no pass through that I could find.

Makes me feel a little better about the 2 missed shots I had the other day.

.177 Benjamin Fortitude Gen2 using LUM77 10.5 @ ~750fps for ~12+fpe.

Scope is Aim Sports Alpha 6 4.5-27x50, set at 27 power most of the time.

Both pics show entry in top of head. I could not find an exit wound. Ping pong ball for scale.

Cigar is Alec Bradley American robusto (5x50). Not bad, but nothing special.

Very nice shot!!! At 27x they must be Godzilla like, how do you choose which nostrils to send the pellet up to? LOL

LOL!

I do like being able to choose the spot on the head or body, not just aim generally at the head or body. It works for me in my situation. (smile)

Of course, this is shooting in my backyard where I already know the distances and also where the pests are most likely to be for a safe shot.
