Well Colleen and I been working hard in garden , everything is growing well but we are being attacked by chipmunks and they eating plants as they small we have replanted now 3 times , I put up plates and scare crows nothing worked I tried putting seven on plants , nope it was like salt and pepper for them ,, Titus tried to chase a few but he is getting old now he is like almost 13 ,
OK so I shot like 6 of them with my leshiy and my Swarovski V8I scope ,I use the amber dot and run it at either 2.3x or 4x ,but with so much green and rock walls they quick and blend in , I said ok , and titus and I got out my ATN 5-50 HD Thermal , I set gun to 820fps with 18gr JSB , I set my zero around 35 yards , and chose a nice Reticle I made reticle Red and set my color to Black Hot , and I put it at 5x , I started this last night , so they are black and stand out and if you shoot them you can see hits and see where they are , so much easier then spotting them with a scope .
well once I set it up , I was hitting spinners at 35 yd and a 1 in steel at 15 yd I even held over and shot 90 yards at a 3 inch hand warmer . as they are good targets for thermal .
OK so last night I woke up 2 am and got 11 of them and today I got 7 more , Here is Titus he has been scouring for his snacks , Here is Titus he came up stairs and barked to colleen to cook these , LOL he carry's them up the stairs 2 at a time He likes them fried and he like the Larue Rub they sent me on them it must be like Cagun chipunks
