Chinese compressor issue

I have the yong heng look alike that has the dark grayish 2nd stage head sleeve

Now it seems like the steel tube closest to the bottom that leads into that right condensation trap/housing heats up way too fast (also temp on gauge rises way too quick) and the pressure gauge doesnt move. I do feel air coming out of the end of the filling hose. I dont even know what to attempt to fix.

Mine did the same thing ! Worked one day and the next it would not pump.. I did a total tear down cleaned every thing.. BTW it was filthy inside and their were burs on the inside of almost all the air tubes the piston rings were close to lined up the lubrication hole in the connecting rod was blocked with machining chips A total mess reassembled made sure everything is tight ... Works great My recommendation is to open it up and clean before using

That's not a yong heng - it's a vevor

The yong heng has a pipe coming out of the top of the second stage cylinder and one going in the side

Also, yong heng has split-ring seals that sit in grooves in the rod - vevor has a cup seal on the end of the rod - seems impossible to get replacement seal for vevor second stage

I have yong heng and had no problems - somebody in another group has vevor and it's junk and he can't get replacement seals - he's going to get a yong heng

FIXED The seal at the tip of that rod on the piston needed to be replaced.

I know these vevor compressors come with spare 2nd stage seals - but now is the time to find some spares - I know owners of these compressors who cannot find spare seals anywhere

If you can source some "end cup seals" or whatever they are called, please let me know, as I know an owner who is desperate for some
