If you are like me, I get my lawn treated monthly by a local company. After the treatment they leave a sign in the yard and for a long time I would just throw them away. Well I found a way to repurpose them. If you don't get your lawn serviced, I'm sure you can ask your neighbours for theirs as most people just throw them out. If you get enough, you can set them up at different ranges.

That's not a good idea. You could be charged with theft if not given the proper permission. Look up regulations for sign removal for your state. Can be a tricky subject.

That's a great idea if you live in my neighborhood. The signs are left and never picked up. I will be trying this target idea.

Old political signs have been a source of target holders, targets and backers for me for years. Don't take them from people's yards without permission but often they are illegally placed on public property; check your local laws. Something else you will probably find is that the law requires they be taken down within a week after the election but most on public property are not.
