Cheap and easy Pellet 'Pouch'. Takes less than 5 minutes to make.

Good evening Airgunners --=--

Even though this is really nothing special, I thought that I would share a minor tip for carrying pellets similarly to a pouch. I have friends and family that I get plenty of these 'Tins' from, you may have that same luxury, but if not hey, you can enjoy the candy yourself, then use the 'Tins'....

1.) I remove the plastic lid and wipe clean any residue inside. I also remove the 'IceBreakers' shiny paper from the top. I use a razor blade to start it and continue 'shaving' it off.

2.) Nab a free foam piece from one of the many tins that you already have (c'mon ya know ya gottem). This is a large tin.

3.) Line the new 'Tin' with the foam on the bottom half, they fit very nicely. They fold up the side of the bottom part, makes them quieter.

4.) Since you already removed the lid, drill two holes in it by drilling from the 'inside' of the lid in the large opening. DO NOT drill from the top side as the flapper hinge will fail when you push on it. Then drill two holes through the side of the bottom aligning with the two lid holes.

5.) Push a shoelace through the two holes and tie a simple knot. I used a granny, you can use what ever you like.

6.) The large opening will then open to pour pellets into. When closing just tug slightly on the shoestrings so they don't get in the way.

7.) The small opening works great to only allow a few pellets out at a time.

8.) I used some of those sticky target dots to identify what pellet is in the 'Tin'. Since my shoelaces were very long, you can make the front loop as long as you need. I tied another granny knot in them so that it sits on the nape and hangs down my back.

9.) Go shooting!

Works for me anyway and is very cheap, plus ya get to enjoy the fruits inside when ya need another one.
