Chamber is too tight to seat pellets – What do I do?!

My dear AG friends (and mockers! 😝),

let me give you something to mock me with.

I asked you for help with a chamber that seemed too tight for even the softest pellets (JSB).

You gave me wonderful advice about opening up the chamber, trying different head sizes, and a host of other, very good solutions.

THANK YOU! 😊

And now, let me confess that I put the barrel into the action THE WRONG WAY! 😳

(Still looking for a more appropriate SHAME EMOJI.....)

After turning the barrel on its end in the .22 PP700, the pellets go in smooth as butter.

And the barrel that was doing small 4-shot groups and spraying the rest of the 6 pellets all over the 10-shot target card — well....

...that barrel just deliverd a JSB Exp to a pigeon swinging softly in the crown of a large tree some 49m (54y) away.

Me = elated 😄

Pigeon = dead 💀
