When I am entering parameters into Chairgun, it is changing them. If I enter the current pressure it changes my elevation setting. If I reset the elevation it changes the pressure. Does anyone else have this experience? Any ideas why or how to fix it?

In the Toolbox there is a feature to set altitude and pressure from current location.
Just a WAG..pressure changes as elevation changes..so in a way it makes sense programmatically that one affects the other.

they may be related, but I don't see how what's going on here could be right. If I go with chairgun I either can't keep the pressure I know to be right, or it changes my elevation almost 1000 ft. I would check out the set by location feature, but I don't seem to have it in my tool box.

I thought chairgun pro might be a fix, but when I went to the app store all I could find was chairgun. Is the pro version available for android phones?

Well I did some homework and came to a conclusion. It doesn't matter what altitude it thinks you are at if the barometric pressure is correct. I hope someone benefits from this. Pressure is used in the calculations. Elevations will give you the average pressure, not measured pressure. Measured pressure lends toward accurate calculations. So if I have proper, measured pressure, I'll let the elevation say whatever it wants. Happy shooting.
