CF Bottle For FX Boss

I've seen the pictures of the FX Impact with the CF bottle and was wondering if FX is possibly going to be offering CF bottles for the Boss. I would love to take a pound off of my Boss. It would make a great rifle even better. Is there an aftermarket alternative available now? I'm curious because I can't leave well enough alone. I like to tinker with my rifles.

If you find something out on this please post it. I'm interested too.

I purchased a FX Boss laminate from AOA and it came with the Carbon Fiber Bottle. It is one great rifle.

That’s a good kit for that purpose. I bought a used (but practically new) 680cc CF 4500 psi paintball bottle off eBay for $45 and use the rig as my field bottle. Two things about this rig. First is there is no pressure gage. Second is that when you vent it off after filling your gun, it vents all at once and sounds like a .22 LR shot. I almost crapped myself the first time I used it... ;)

Order the Basic Valve Kit in M18*1.5 to use your metal FX bottle, or in 5/8-18 to use a paintball bottle. The kit can be ordered with an add on pressure gauge if you want that.

Thanks for covering for me Centercut. I've been hooked up at work and haven't had a chance to log on. Your right, that sudden burst of air will sure wake you up. I did find out that the nipple that screws into the valve is a 7/16 X 20 bolt thread so you could get an adapter and plumb in a inline bleeder to make it a more civil bleed off.
