Had my Texan tore down . I wanted to post some pics to try to simplify the ease and significantly add strength and full length bushing in youR frame. The sleeve is .250 thick 1.00inch outside and .750 inside the barrel is .750 outside diameter. The frame is 1.005 inside You have 5 thousands wiggle room just enough to slide in. Use your two end cap grub screws on the frame to make perfectly tight. Sorry I didn't save the place I bought the sleeve from but the hardest part was convert mm to stand measurements. The sleeve was a $100.00 a year ago and was long enough to do 2 barrels. Thought this might help some of my friends on within nation. Good day😁

Yes there is a change in harmonic especially when you hang a big long heavy 17 inch LDC on the end of it. In 50 cal you only have .250 steel and that's not much. I think that's why so many people love there.257 texans. Its just works out to a smaller hole and more metal stiffer barrel. 34 inch barrel .510 inside diameter .750 outside diameter in my mind sitting on 2 little brushing is not stiff . Everything with my barrel has been much more consistent with the .250 thick carbon wrap and power coating all my cast slugs.
