Carbon fiber bottles directly from the source.

My order shipped free also. It took them over a week to process my order. I suspect this was due to the May Day holiday in China. My order is currently shipping via UPS and is due in later this week.

That was the same experience for me. Never ordering from them before, I was a little concerned but they did come through for me. I would order again from them.

I received my valves today via UPS in a soft pack. They seem to be very heavy duty. It looks like my tank is in Thursday.

This is getting interesting. My tank is being held in a government warehouse at the port of entry (Kentucky). Somebody decided it needs to have DOT certification unless a special circumstance exists. I received a DOT form from UPS and was asked to fill it out. While scratching my head looking at the form, UPS called and said to forget filling it out. I told them it would not be used for SCUBA.

This is a large 9L tank and I guess it set off a few alarms. The saga continues.

My tank finally arrived yesterday. It's a 9L (1 hour) tank complete with tank valve and fill adapter for $247.16. The valve setup alone would have cost over $100 via Ebay. The tank was manufactured 10/20/2018 by AceCare and is visually flawless. However, it is not DOT certified.

I started filling it yesterday but had to stop due to a Yong Heng compressor seal failure. I'm not running a priority valve on my filter setup so several prefills were done using and existing 30 minute tank to bring the pressure up to roughly 20 MPA (2900 PSI). The new tank was then filled to roughly 30 MPA (4350 PSI) after fixing my Yong Heng compressor.

Overall, I'm happy. This type of setup is only good for folks willing to do their own tank filling since no dive shop will touch it without DOT certification.

I received mine today. It came Fedex, and took 3 weeks from the order date.

The tank looks great, but I'm not thrilled with the valve and fittings. Pretty cheap for sure so I'll have to see how they hold up.

I filled the tank with my LC115 with no issues.

I'll probably be ordering another assuming the tariff doesn't significantly raise the price

My pleasure, I'm glad I could help you guys out! I'm really happy I found them when I was looking for my 500cc bottle for my 30 cal build.

I do know that some of the foster fittings are brass on some of the Chinese tanks. We had a member on another forum have one let go, emptying the bottle, and the fitting on the hose struck his foot. He was slightly injured, but not seriously.

It would be a good idea to replace the high pressure foster fittings with a stainless high quality fitting.

Cheap insurance.

I would feel MUCH safer with a cheap tank and a GOOD valve. If the valve suddenly gives way (with pressure in the tank) then you have a projectile being propelled from the end.

Not to scare you, but below is what can happen when a valve gives way.

Edit - not sure why but embedding videos gives nothing now.
