I've noticed with pandemic-related shortages, pre-orders and a scrambling around for hard to find stuff, a number of members have cancelled orders, re-ordered from another, cancelled again and re-ordered from a third. Not anything wrong with this, other than a shame we have to do it, just wondering how you afford the cancellation and re-stocking fees. Are dealers understanding what we have to go thru and waiving fees? Please share your thoughts. Thanks

What is being missed here is what the dealer has to go through.
A dealer doesn't just answer the phone or email, they have to remove the order from their system. Also in many cases find a hard copy of the order that is passing through their system then go through the refund system of their credit card company to have the refund issued. There may be another step depending on how sales records are handled for tax purposes. It can take up to 30 minutes, maybe more to completely process the cancelation order
The archery shop I used to own has orders right now that are from December last year.
During normal times this does not happen but because of the fallout from the pandemic everybody Is backorder so it's best to just be patient
If one dealer is waiting it's likely all dealers are also waiting. So going from dealer to dealer may even make it take longer. The dealer you had the order with and canceled from could end up getting the items before the second, third or forth dealer you changed to.

Haven’t really heard of restocking fees for things not in stock, if you have to preorder it then what are they restocking?Besides a moderator from Talon tunes and recent first order of pellets from Trenier,I’ve been exclusively(since COVID)ordering air rifles and pellets from Krale and just pay the 35-40 dollars for shipping and haven’t had a waiting problem at all.Every order 3-4 days.
