Can you outshoot your PCP?

I cannot. I have a 22 and 25 cal Cricket rifle and both are tuned by Allen Z. They make shooting accurately very easy. I also have 4 different Hatsan PCPs. All are tuned and heavily modified with valve work, regulators with large plenums, SSG and crowned barrels. They are heavier and longer than than the Crickets. But when I shoot groups the groups are pretty much the same size as the groups I shoot with the Crickets. Past 100 yards the 30 cal Hatsan is the most accurate of all my guns. I will also add that when my 25 cal Sumatra is shooting in the sweet spot of the power curve it will hang with any of my rifles as far as accuracy. So I guess my PCPs are limited by me and pellets :)

No way can I! My BSA R10 in .177 will literally shoot Polymags into the exact same hole at 25yds with 10.34 AAs pretty much the same. My Mutant will do the same with JSB 18.13gr and slightly bigger with polymags. Heck even my .25 Mrod with TJ barrel will stack JSB and Polymags but not quite as tight as my BSA or Mutant but still MOA or less. But when we get to 50+ I feel like I'm a weak link and seem to pull more shots then. I've always wanted to test them in a gun vise but then again what does it matter cause the gun won't be shooting itself when I'm hunting so I need to practice more lol

I shoot 40% off a mono stick, 40 % off a tripod, 10% dead shot 5 % off the atlas tripod 5% off a Harris tripod.
My guns are more accurate than myself, If I had to just pick one and only one as the most accurate,
I would pick my 22 and 25 Crickets and my 22 Mutant , And that's if I just had to pick one as the most accurate
Yea, I have trouble counting,
And there can only be one, So there was three.
Mike.

IMO a hard question to answer.

The way to determine this is to shoot other rifles to see if your accuracy improves. If it does, you must have been limited by your equipment.

But testing for accuracy (increase or decrease) isn't easy. A good way to minimize shooter variables is bench rest target shooting for score or group size. But even then pellet selection (and consistency), cleaning regime, wind, wind reading, and other factors* will affect scores.

*Including psychology. We like to idealize our air rifles, and want to believe in their near-perfection. As evidenced by guys who meticulously refinish stocks, bluing, etc - which does nothing for accuracy but makes the rifle beautiful. And of course the best evidence of idealization and over-attachment is referring to your gun as "she".
