Can you get an HW 95 with the moderator on it?

No but there are options. First up would be the Weihrauch slide on moderator made for them and has a cut out in it to keep your open sights. $104.98 at AoA: https://www.airgunsofarizona.com/airgun-silencers/weihrauch-moderator-for-16mm-barrel-models/

Second would be sending it to John-in-PA who sends your barrel out to have the end threaded for 1/2-20UNF at which point you pick what moderator you want. I know of someone who went this route so he could use a DonnyFL moderator but never saw what it cost him mentioned.

Probably others but there's 2 for you, both quite pricey.

I got a threaded barrel from airgun spares for my R9 and put a 0db moderator on it. Shoots better than the full length barrel IMO

Keep in mind with the slide on adapters, that the sight grooves stand proud of the barrel and will have to be removed to fit one. And slide on adapters are generally pretty cheesy and not exactly precise. I wouldn't want one on something I intend to grab as a handle and put 30 pounds of force on, and expect it to not move.

You can order a threaded barrel from Chambers in the UK. Probably be about the same money as having one threaded here in the states.

Before AoA cried and got a hiatus put on it, we used to be able to buy Weihrauch threaded barrels and parts from Canada for reasonable money. But not anymore.

I wouldn't even try it myself unless it was threaded to fit a screw on silencer. Just my opinion.

Scp52, that slide on one may be the way to go, but the others are good too but maybe a little more $$. Thanks

Seangabrell, man, that is really nice looking. I'll check into that. How much difference did that supressor make? It looks like a good one.

ETA- Thumper, I had to go away in the middle of typing my post and then I see your post. Yeah I was wondering about the stability. That one Sean posted looks really nice.

ETA again. I just found the Chambers site but it says they will not ship to USA.

Slide on like thumper mentioned means no using it as a cocking aid so keep that mind.

I poked around on TW Chambers and unless I missed something (wouldn't be the first time...lol) the only threaded barrel they sell for the 95 is in .20 caliber.

Did find a link for a .22 cal threaded barrel here: https://www.airgunspares.com/hw95barrel22khw95barrel-22carbine.html but currently out of stock so you'd have to click the Notify Me button. Other half of that is if I did the conversion right, 145 British pounds at current exchange rate makes that a $197 barrel plus shipping. Might well be cheaper to have your barrel threaded for a screw on moderator and a call to John-in-PA will get you a price on what he'd charge to get it done for you.

Thanks. I just looked him up. I haven't bought the gun yet. I'm actually still trying to decide if I want the 95 or the 50s. AOA sells a 50s model with a scope and moderator already on it, but I kinda think I may want the extra power of the 95. Quietness is important to me because I'm in a neighborhood and we are not supposed to shoot airguns in the city. I have a privacy fence, but....
