Tuning can you add a second regulator to a Gen 1 or Gen 2 Impact

The new regulator for the FX M3 does not work with the older, MKI and MKII models. What exactly would be involved in a retrofit, I don’t know. FX says it is not compatible though. You can get an aftermarket regulator to use up front if you want a two regulator system though.

The m3 reg thread is a little bigger so it isn't plug and play. But maybe can drill the hole on the mk2 bigger and tap it so can screw in the m3 reg and can tune the reg like the maverick. 

Or if you don't wanna drill your impact and tap new threads, you can get a huma reg. It works the same, just the huma reg adds about 3 inches. Making a 480cc bottle extend as long as a 580cc. Look at the pic, the 480cc bottle will extend all the way to the lcd. So if you have a 580cc and a 600mm, it will not fit. Barely fit with the 480cc.

I read that post. Nothing about a new dual reg for the mk1 and mk2. Please link the new daul reg you are talking about.

I check their site and this is all I can find. It looks like a tool use on their old daul reg to help adjust the pressure only. It is not a new dual reg. I am still waiting for the day huma can come up with a compact reg similar to fx dual reg that we can screw onto our mk1 and mk2 and not extend the bottle all the way to the lcd.
