Can the Crosman 1701P be fitted with a 1/2 unf adapter?

I have that on my 1322. I see no reason why it could not be used. Very tight fit, and true (straight) enough use the tightest of baffles with no clipping

Just buy a TKO grubscrew it on save money live better. I have them exclusively for all my 1701Ps. Specifically due to their light weight and absolutely no accuracy loss.

Super light weight LDC very effective too. Don't even need to mod your fill dust cap either this way nor remove the silencer whenever you need to fill the gun up.

If you bumped its power up to 10fpe with the P Rod TP then get the longer one otherwise shorter one is good enough if you plan to shoot only 400-500 fps as-is and never want to bump up the power. Get the longer one anyway if absolute quiet is important to you like shooting in the bedroom while the wife's sleeping in bed.

It's as though it was made for the 1701P too see picture. RenoTwolf. I don't have pics for any of mine. Here's a link.

I have a few threaded barrel adapters but didnt like unscrewing the silencer every time I filled the gun plus it was way heavier up front with the NON TKO silencers I tried even the smallest lightest aluminum made ones combined with the threaded barrel adapter were just too front heavy for me.

The tko are great. But there is one problem. You cannot get repeatable alignement with it. And when you take it off. Assuming you might want to try another mod, you'd need another grubscrew mod. I could not take my tko off and re-install, and not have to re-zero every time. I actually faced the back of mine, and cut 1/2x20 threads into it. Now I do get a repeatable zero if I remove and re-install.

Love the light weight and effectiveness. Just the mounting method bugged me to no end. And the more you take it off and put it back on the looser it fits onto the barrel. If you plan to just leave it, it'd be a great option.

As for someone saying the ebay models don't work.... They're made for the crosman barrels. The first one is on my gun, and fitment is PERFECT. Very tight, but not too tight. Just right if you ask me.

I concur with Senor LGD.

I happen to own 2 of the aforesaid, but reminiscing the source, I actually got them from Poland and not from Serbia, albeit they appear to be very identical.

To reiterate, they are very heavy.

Mine are both polished and look silver with a brushed finish—I refinished them myself.

I prefer the Polish made version; it having a full-cut underbelly vs the Serbian’s partial one—it seems to have a “chin” and might bang against the filler cap whilst you remove it for air recharge.

If you must, get the version for the Disco, as the weight is much more ideal for the 22xx/13xx barrels.

Another note is that the 17xx barrels seem to be a tad stouter than the 22xx/13xx ones, so the adapter will be a very2x tight fit and not sliding at all.

I have also noticed that 22xx/13xx OEM Crosman barrels are a bit fatter compared to their Lothar Walther (I have 2 in 14” lengths) siblings.

22xx/13xx LW barrels from Crosman will have a bit wiggle ever so slightly if you use these European adapters (at least in my experience), so I use an ultra thin plastic bag to tighten them up by putting the bag as I would a condom and slide the adapter onto the barrel, afterwhich I trim the excess plastic material with a sharp blade.
