The String starts at 250bars of air pressure
    895,889,890,899,904,898,900,894,893,890,896,897,896,895,894,901,898,898,898,895,899,898,896,893,901,900,901,892,905,900,899,895
    Ends at 150bars.

I tuned the airgun today successfully.
    Zeroed at 44yards.
    16gr. PELLET used.
    Please examine it for me.

Could you tell us a bit more about the rifle, what model, caliber (assume 22), etc
Could you put your velocities vertically, like…
    895
    889
    890
    904
    …..

I do not know the Dominator.  If you use Google you can find most of your answers online, or at least gets you on the right track. That’s what I did here.

     I assume it’s a 200cc air tank.

     You can calculate efficieny: http://www.calc.sikes.us/1/

    250-150bar = 100 bar    for 31 shots ..  Good string, consistent

Maybe able to improve on the “per shot air used” efficiency more, unless the rifle design has limitations.

    Thank you very very much.
    +1 for both.

I achieved 960~970Fps using 16gr pellets but it wasn’t consistent and gave only 20shots.
Before I had a problem that at 250bars of pressure we had 930fps as the cylinder pressure decreases thd fps increases to 970fps meaning the regulator wasn’t working.

    “MANICMINER”

regarding your last shotstring the section you published looks fine. next time you show the dropoff too. to me it looks like it is not full/complete. whats the point.

Correct…a drop off or a rise after coming off the reg can speak volumes.

Yep.I just stopped when the fps decreased to 875,870, and so on. (150bar)
Its not possible to adjust the Hammer Spring.
The regulator has an allen key adjuster for the intake of air pressure.

The way you “adjust” that hammer spring is by cutting it (to reduce velocity) or by shimming it with a spring guide or washers (to increase velocity) at a given pressure setting.

Yep, I know I’ve tried adding a washer of .41mm thickness.
    But same results.

I am sorry, I am a bit confused. What are you hoping to achieve by changing the hammer/spring configuration?  So far what I can see is that the velocity is fine for that caliber and the pellet.  The regulator works.  I think the efficiency is not that great but that’s just what the numbers say and possible this is the best the factory gun can do.  If you want to increase efficiency, you may need to lower the reg pressure, and increase the hammer spring to maintain 900fps.  If you cannot increase the hammer/spring anymore even with a shim, you may need a heavier hammer or add some weight behind it (not the same as a shim). Tuning the valve or transfer port is another option but I let others chime in who know a lot more than I do about messing with the diameters.

    Every thing fine now.
My gun is giving 895fps and less than .5inch at 50yards

Wanted to mention here that there us a “Statistics” applet on the “Toolbox” menu in Chairgun which will do this graph for you Sheharyar.  You might want to have a look at it.

Thanks oldspooks (and for the targets too.)
Actually I don’t have hawke scope that’s why I don’t use Hawke Chairgun.

You don’t need a Hawke scope to use Chairgun.  Just pick one of the generic reticles and you are good to go.

Before I had a TAC Vector 6-24x50SF Sentinel
    Now I’m using a CenterPoint 4-16x40mm
As far as I know my airgun was giving 880~900fps.But I was using 4mildot to shoot at 100yards but both strelok and chairgun were giving wrong results.
