Can lelya 2.0 .25 shot slugs

Given the weight and width of a pellet the same size, there should be no difference between shooting one or the other in a Lelya or any other pcp airgun.

There's no magic about slugs. They are simply a lead "pellet" with a different shape...with the width, weight, length being identical to a "pellet".

If a lead projectile has the same width, weight, length, then the barrel, and the twist rate of the rifling, can tell no difference between slugs or pellets.

However, that being said...the unique shape of a projectile can have some dramatic results upon impact with an object, compared to the shape of the common pellet.

My airguns all shoot pellets at a higher velocity than slugs of the same weight. I attribute that to the fact slugs, because of their shape, contact the barrel more than the diabolo-shaped pellets. I.e. the slugs create more friction with the barrel than pellets.

The pellet's flared skirt helps to reduce friction in the barrel.
