Can Any Members Share Their Experience Shopping w/New England Airgun?

Just got off the phone with them. They are down to 2 tins of the JSB 18.1's so no good for me. Only has the light ones which are easily available elsewhere assuming anyone shoots light pellets in any PCP caliber anymore. Said they had one guy buying out all of some 25cal sizes. He said the buy 5 and get a 6th free is still in effect. You have to buy all 5 the same pellet to get the 6th. No mix and match. He said they were posting that on the website as we spoke. I don't really know any dealer who does that. Good deals are melting like an ice cream in the sun.

Wow! Smh. I was afraid someone would get greedy like that. I guess it’s more likely to happen when you share info with a large group of people. I know of a couple of companies that have similar “buy x amount get one free” offers.

My order was processed yesterday morning, and I got a system generated email at 7:26am thanking me for my order. The PayPal aspect of the order also went through at 7:26am, which is why I'm guessing the NEA email was system generated.

At 6:58pm I received an email from NEA that they only had one tin left of MK2 Heavies, which will come in my order, but I won't be getting a free tin since my order was for different tins of pellets. I see from later posts that they will be adding that to their web site, which is good, so I must not have been the only one to mis-interpret that offer. Also gleaned from other posts mentioning phone orders, my order was there first, before the phone calls, looking for the same pellets, but still I missed out. I guess phone orders are the way to get better response.

I also received the PayPal notification that my order has shipped, at 7:11pm yesterday, with a USPS tracking number, but tracking shows only a label was created. My experience with USPS is that they have the worst tracking of any of the carriers, and the slowest of all to update status for tracking numbers. I am confident that it's on the way and I'll have it shortly.

I have not received anything in the way of a refund for the ordered, and paid for item, that I was told would not be included from my order. Nor have I received any notification of a refund from the $18 shipping fee they charged. I live only about 200 miles, or about 3 hours from them, but shipping has gone up a lot over the last 18 months, so it is what it is for shipping. But a 20% reduction in what is being shipped should result in some kind of an adjustment, we'll just have to wait and see. I'd love to have an airgun specializing vendor on the east coast, near my location to deal with, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Update to my earlier post today, after opening tne package tonight, I see that they threw in two tins on top of the 12 I paid for. Class act, New England Airguns! Will be trading with them in the future.

Excellent! Sounds like they’re doing what they said they would. I’ve heard nothing but positive feedback about this company on here. I hope AGN members continue to support this business.

My pellets arrived today. That’s pretty fast.
They used a USPS Medium flat rate box, and inside of that were two smaller boxes, each containing two tins of pellets each. Everything was exceptional well packaged, and all tins were in perfect condition. They included my order details showing my chosen pellets, and the adjustment due to inventory, and that I paid $95 via PayPal. Also included was another paper showing what was shipped and the total for those items. If the shipping is $18 as was originally quoted, I’ll have a $20 credit coming, time will tell.

So the pellets came fast and very, very well packed. Prices were pretty reasonable, considering how scarce pellets are right now.

Good Job so far New England Air Gun!

Pellets arrived today and adequately packed. No damaged tins. An order of slugs was cancelled which explains the (second) $16 refund. So my shipping total came to $25. Overall service was good, shipping was fast. My shipment was sitting in our local postal hub for 2-3 days before I got it. Under the circumstances these prices aren’t cheap, nor are they unreasonable. My only issue was that I wasn’t notified that the slug portion of my order was cancelled.

I have been looking online at New England Airguns for some time now. I did place an order with them in May last year for some pellets, and that went through fine. However i had never been there in person. On Tuesday I had to go up to Boston for business and go with my son (who just moved there) to do some car shopping. I decided to drop in to their store on my way back to Connecticut.

The store is quite small, but well stocked. Their range is not currently open, primarily because it is full of airguns and “stuff”. I met John and his wife. He was very helpful, showed me everything that I wanted to see and let me play with a Huben K1, which was my primary goal for the visit. To make a long story short, after I played with the Huben, he showed me a wood stocked version which was beautiful. The trigger was great, and I literally “Pulled” the trigger and purchased it. John set the gun up for me, showed me how to adjust it , degas it, gave me tips on what NOT to do and what I should do.

I was very happy with my visit, happy with my discussions and very happy with my purchase.

I highly recommend them.
